Princess Diana | Contemporary Elizabeth Emanuel Shocking Pink Gown Fashion Illustration

Item Details
Description
This is a signed contemporary fashion illustration by Elizabeth Emanuel of Princess Diana's 1981 shocking pink ruffled evening gown worn for a ball two days before her wedding to Prince Charles ( now King Charles III). Diana requested the sophisticated design for a more glamorous look, and many attendees saw Diana, the bride-to-be, for the first time.
Elizabeth recreated the gown in 2022. It was composed of a shocking pink silk taffeta made by Forster Willi, now Forester Rohner AG. The illustration comes with a shocking pink color match swatch. Elizabeth's signature is located at the bottom right-hand corner.
Elizabeth Emanuel documents in her book, "We decided on a shocking pink creation in silk taffeta with a plunge neckline, a body-hugging silhouette, and a crossover skirt that was slashed to the thigh. She looked like a goddess and she knew it!"
A copyright-raised stamp is at the bottom right-hand corner of Elizabeth Emanuel's design studio.
Please note: The designer, Elizabeth Emanuel, retains all intellectual property rights to Elizabeth Emanuel/Emanuel designs.
