Height x width x depth : 55 x 40 x 16 cmMercury-gilded bronze case resting on four leafed feet, richly decorated at the top with a female figure with harp. Clock with circular white enamel dial with two winding holes and Roman numerals signed 'Hedouin ? Paris' and 'Feuchere Fab. de Bronze'. Movement with wire suspension, pendulum regulator and hour and half-hour chime on bell.Pierre-Franois Feuchre was already working during the reign of Louis XVI, becoming the main rival of the bronze craftsmen Pierre-Philippe Thomire, Claude Galle and Andr?-Antoine Ravrio in the period between 1800 and 1820. Pierre-Franois's son, Lucien-Franois (active from 1780 to 1828), worked in his father's workshop and contributed to its development, creating prestigious works commissioned and purchased by some of the most important customers in France and abroad, including German and Austrian aristocrats.
