Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Glass 'Feather’ Table Lamp

Circa 1915

The conical shade decorated with stylized feather motifs and a geometric border, in mottled green, amethyst and opalescent glass, the flower-base with a paneled standard and stpped circular foot, pierced metal heat cap, shade signed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK (lower inner rim) and 1439-1 (upper inner rim), base stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 534. Height 21 1/2 inches; height of 6 1/2 shade, diameter 16 inches.

Shade: appears to be in generally good conidtion; shade appears to be "in-the-round;" there are approximatel ythree 'feather' glass segments with hairine cracks; there are approximately eight glass egments with hairline cracks at the lower geometric border; no hairline cracks were observed to any of the oval or teardrop-shaped 'peacock eye' glass segments; no apparent evidence of replacement or restoration to any of the individual glass segments; some of the horizontal caming and lower rim band of the shade retain traces of green patina (this patina is mortly worn away elsewhere on the caming on the exterior side); the green patina is more intact on the interior side of the shade

Base: the lamp has three light sockets; the sockets appear to have age; all three on-off light-switch paddles are marked WEBER; the lamp is currently wired, however, the switches, sockets, and wiring were not tested; the lamp base has a uniform mottled green and chocolate brown patina; the patina currently has a dulled appearance (would benefit from a cleaning and waxing); the heat cap may or may not be an original Tiffany Studios heat cap; the heat cap lacks a screw to allow it to securely and properly screw on to the bronze ring at the top of the base
