2 Antique Evening Dresses

Two Antique Evening Gowns. Featured are two evening gowns in black and another in white lace. The black dress is from Bonwit Teller & Co. and has a lace collar while the rest of the dress is draped in with a sheer black half skirt on top of black satin (recheck). The sheer part of the dress, waist belt, the cuffs, and the collar features black bands with yellow polka dots. The back of the gown features several fasteners such as buttons and hook and eye closures. The gown is in poor condition with toning on the skirt of the dress, moth holes on the lace, toning on the lace collar, and several fasteners missing on the back. The lining shows discoloration along the under arms and rips on the fabric as well. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 55", Waist: 12", Shoulders: 16", and Bust: 16". The other dress that is included in the lot is made with a lace overlay in three tiers with a defined waist. The dress is short sleeved and features several hook and eye clasps on the back for security. The lace that is featured has numerous eyelets that are present and there is a silk lining that is present. Significant toning is present through the dress with it being more noticeable along the hem of the dress. The bust shows netting over the silk because there is lace that is missing. Several of the hooks on the back are missing as well. Laid flat, it has the following measurements: Length: 52", Waist: 11", Bust: 13", and Shoulders: 11" .
