A LARGE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH FOUR-GLASS MANTEL CLOCK WITH CALENDAR WORK AND MOONPHASE the moulded brass case with bevelled glass panels enclosing two silvered masked enamel dials with Roman chapter ring surrounding a sunken centre fitted a Brocot type escapement above a calendar dial with outer days surrounding day and month dials below a moonphase aperture fronting an eight-day movement striking the hours on a bell. (44.5cm high)
