ASIAN: Two theatrical woodblock prints, details include: first, Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) (Japanese, 1786-1864), woodblock print "Kagami Ike Omokage Soga", from the series "Odori Keiyo Gedai Zukushi", three figures in colorful robes at various tasks, wear consistent with age including toning and worm holes, print hinged at top and attached to mat, 14" h. x 9 3/4" w.; second, Isshusai Kunikazu (Japanese, active from 1848–1868), polychrome woodblock print, "Chikugo Province: (Actors Ichikawa Ebijûrô IV as) Katô Shigeuji and (Fujikawa Tomokichi III as) Shigeuji's Wife", from the series "The Sixty-odd Provinces of Great Japan (Dai Nippon rokujû yo shû)", published by Ishikawaya Wasuke (Ishiwa), Edo period, c.1862, no chop mark, trimmed with no margins, 6 7/8" h. x 8 3/4" w.; both unframed in portfolios.
