The Remington Nylon 76 "Trailrider" is the only lever action rifle known to have been made by Remington Arms and was billed as the world's fastest lever action rifle. This is one of the more rare Nylon Rifles as it is the scarcely seen lever action, but also is in the black stock with blued receiver which is incredibly rare. The rifle is believed to be a Nylon 76 Apache Black with the even more rare blued receiver. This gun has a locked-breech lever action, with a short stroke of only about thirty degrees. It was introduced by Remington Arms in 1962 and discontinued in 1965. This .22 caliber long rifle is very collectible and was produced in an effort to make a gun that would not require any lubricants and therefore is widely used in the Arctic Circle. This gun is in 30%+ condition showing a 1 inch break in the stock above the lever and functions (lever and trigger working) but is not smooth. RW6
