MAGNIFICENT TIFFANY STUDIOS DAFFODIL LEADED GLASS TABLE LAMP

An absolutely spectacular example of the iconic daffodil leaded glass table lamp by Tiffany Studios. The 20" diameter shade has all of the elements that are desired in a Tiffany Studios Daffodil. The shade features a background in several shades of blues, with wonderful transparency and mottling. The blues perfectly mimicking those of a summer sky. The reeds on the daffodils have incredible complexity with a myriad of colors, ranging from light green, mint green, darker greens and even shades of blues. The daffodil blossoms themselves are remarkable with intense mottling in their golden orange and yellow blossoms. The shade is in excellent condition, with its original patina, with a very small number of tight heat cracks. The shade is signed to the inside rim "Tiffany Studios New York 1497". The shade sits on an equally beautiful and quite rare Tiffany Studios patinated bronzed ribbon base. The ribbon base features a foliate motif, perfectly complimenting the daffodil shade. The three-socket base has its original patina with incredible complexity, with shades of deep browns, greens, and reds. The shade retains its original sockets and GECO Bakelite paddles. The lamp is finished with an original flower petal Tiffany Studios perforated heat cap. A truly gorgeous example of the Tiffany Studios Daffodil.
