BIOGRAPHY:
Carl Marius was born 1914. When a boy, he dreamt of going to the sea, though never really did. But the sea impressed him so greatly, that he began painting seascapes. When he had earned enough money, he studied in Munich and made vast journeys along the coast of Europe. Here he found his excellent subjects which have made him one of the most wanted seascape painters.
