An antique, original Japanese triptych woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada III (1848-1920). This piece depicts 5 Kabuki actors in a scene from the play 47 Ronin. This piece was printed and published on May 25, 1892, by Maki Bunjiro, located at Shiba-ku Mishima-cho 5, during the Meiji period of Japanese history. This triptych is double matted and framed under glass and, with frame, it measures 18 inches x 36 inches. This triptych was acquired from a Metro Washington DC estate., 18IN x 36IN (46cm x 92cm), LOT REF #25-589
