Size: 12 ft 10 in x 10 ft 10 in (3.91 m x 3.3 m)

Provenance: Property of a New York estate

An expansive Antique Persian Serapi rug, measuring 10 ft 10 in x 12 ft 10 in, embodies the intricate artistry of late 19th-century Northwest Iran. Bold medallions and a harmonious palette of terracotta, deep indigo, and muted ivory exude sophistication. Geometric motifs balanced with ornate leaf tendrils create a majestic centerpiece, artfully anchoring grand interiors.

Condition

Lot # 269 is in a fair to good condition. The pile is low with scattered areas of re-piled in the rug. One end is re-woven about 1" by the entire width and both ends are hand secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.
