Charles Catteau Art Deco Earthenware Deer Motif 12" Urn Style Vase. Charles Catteau (26 January 1880, Douai – 20 October 1966, Nice) was a French Art Deco industrial designer. This vase was designed in the 1920's to 30's era, it is a earthenware pottery vase with deer, blue & turquoise enameled on a cracked background. No signature but it does appear to show the initials "CC" on the bottom. There is no damage, cracks, chips or repairs to the piece. The vase measures H 12" x W 10.5" and weighs 6 lbs.
