Grace Schlesier's paintings are intended to reflect the Natural World. She specializes in Coastal, the Sea and the Wilderness with its rivers and streams. She says: "it's usually the light and feeling that pulls her in to a specific scene." Agreeing with the Early California painters, Schlesier believes nature is one of the best teachers and spends countless hours painting out of doors.She says: "I love to experience nature first hand, feeling the breeze in my hair, and the sun on my face, hearing the birds singing and even once in a while coming face to face with coyote and deer. Being out there is an integral part of what I do."
