BIOGRAPHY:
Emrich is well regarded as an Indiana artist but also a member of the Woodstock New York artist colony where he painted local landscapes and exhibited them at the Woodstock Artists Association in the 2929's and 30's before heading back to his home state of Indiana.While in Woodstock he created some absolutely charming paintings of local scenes including this exceptional view of Wittenberg Mountain in Woodstock. Wittenberg Mountain is part of the Burroughs Range portion of the famed Catskill Mountains.
