In the manner of Jacques Dubois, the galleried top canted rectangular with slightly shaped sides, decorated with a flower-basket over a frieze with one drawer, decorated on all sides with floral marquetry, the cabriole legs joined by a conforming undertier and terminating in sabots, restorations, replacements and losses to marquetry 29 in. (74 cm.) high, 201⁄2 in. (52.5 cm.) wide, 141⁄2 in. (37 cm.) deep

By repute, acquired by Annie Laurie Crawford, later Aitken (1900-1984) in 1930s.

An almost identical table stamped 'I. DUBOIS' was sold Parke Bernet Galleries, New York, 27 April 1963, lot 144.
