Sour Taffy: "My name is Robin Sample and I am a full time self representing Artist. I have been painting and entering competitions for 28 years, which is most of my life. I spend time every day in my art studio creating my little world to share with the public. The medium I most enjoy using is mixed media, employing watercolor and acrylic along with graphite or pen and ink occasionally. I thoroughly enjoy creating fantasy portraits. My artwork has been awarded in several competitions including CAL, WAL, LSAG, MCFAR, and HLSR. My artwork has also been housed in several galleries and art shows across the state of Texas. I also still enjoy working with other local artists to learn and develop new techniques and styles."
