Roberto Michel (pseudonym of Juan Planet, his birth name) lived in Catalonia for many years. Since then, the painter has been inclined towards still lifes with flowers, tableware, and sometimes, with fruit, his works being quite recognizable for their chromatic variety and detailed compositions.
