BIOGRAPHY:
Hendrik Ten Hoven was from a family with a long line of artists. He studied at Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam and his native town of Deft was the inspiration for many of his earlier works. While not much is known about Hoven, he produced many works of the streets of amsterdam many of which have sold at auction houses such as Christies and Bonhams.
