BIOGRAPHY:
Phil Shaw went to the University of Texas, studied art and graduated in 1949. The artist is a renowned long-time Texas jeweler. Shaw began designing and creating jewelry in the 1960's in Austin, Texas. He relied on the centuries-old technique of lost wax casting, where the mold is broken with the creation of each singular piece of jewelry, ensuring each piece is the only one of its kind.
