BOOKS. Lot includes approximately 100 books which are predominantly hard-cover. Some may be signed by the author and some may contain correspondence as well as notes relating to Norm Flayderman. Some featured examples include: a binder of 180 pages of a book to be published by Roy Marcot. This sampler, with colored illustrations, has an accompanying letter to Mr. Flayderman requesting him to write the foreword for the upcoming book. The letter is dated May 6th, 2008. The published volume in the lot is entitled "Remington Rolling Block Rifles, Carbines & Shotguns SPORTING & TARGET RIFLES by ROY MARCOT". The book has a bookplate inside signed by the author along with "J. Lewis" and "Ron Paxton". There is another slip-cased unopened copy that has the bookplate taped to the outside to be mounted upon opening. / Slip-cased set of three volumes of "FRANK WESSON GUNMAKER". Volume 1 deals with "Gunmakers of Worcester". Volume 2 deals with "Pistols". Volume 3 deals with "Rifles". Volume 1 contains signed card by the authors dated 2012. Volumes and slip-case show a moderate amount of careful use with light wear and scuffing. / "LC Smith Shotguns by William S. Brophy". / "Marlin Firearms by William S. Brophy". Signed by author. / "Remington Double Shotguns by Charles G. Semmer". Signed by author. / "More Single Shot Rifles by Grant". / "Still More Single Shot Rifles by Grant". / "Single Shot Rifles Finale by Grant". / "Early Cartridge Handguns 22 Caliber by Laidacker". Signed copy. #7 of 500. / Volumes 1 and 2 of "The Deringer in America by R.L. Wilson & L.D. Eberhart". / "Remington Rolling Block Pistols by Jerry Landskron". CONDITION: volumes are generally in good to very good condition, but will have handling wear, scuffing and occasional small tears. PROVENANCE: This variety is from the Collection of Norm Flayderman.
