Fry "Mae West" 5 Gallon Visable Gas Pump

Description

Fry model 117 "Mae West" visible gas pump manufactured by the Guarantee Liquid Measure Co. of Rochester, Pennsylvania. This unrestored "barn find" example features the iconic tapered steel body with the "Guarantee Liquid Measure Co." embossed base and a painted "Guarantee Fry Vsable" paddle sign mounted to the side. The pump retains its clear glass cylinder with internal gallon markers and has no cracks or BB holes. The cylinder is protected by its original chicken wire cage. The sheet steel body exhibits a heavy, uniform rust patina with remnants of original red paint. Faded painted graphics have been added. It has a replaced hose and original OPW 300 dispensing handle. Topped with a repro metal framed globe with repro Richfield Aviation glass faces. Globe lights up. Measures 118" tall including 18" removable globe.. Note: Pickup/Transport required.
