BIOGRAPHY:
Elizabeth Sampson is an American painter active in the mid-20th century and later. She holds an MAE in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University (2014) and a BFA in Painting from George Mason University (2011). Sampson has exhibited widely in group and staff exhibitions, including shows at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC (2016–2017), Aside Gallery in Baltimore (2018), and multiple galleries in Washington, DC and Richmond, Virginia. Her work has also been shown internationally in Costa Rica, including exhibitions at Hidden Garden Gallery and Angelinas in Playa Flamingo.
