BIOGRAPHY:
Busciolano was born in Naples in 1851. He came from a famous family of artists active in Naples, and was the nephew of the sculptor Antonia, and the son of Michel Busciolano. He studied painting at the Neapolitan School of Painting at the Fine Arts Institute. His paintings - generic scenes, portraits and images of characteristic Neapolitan fishermen, women and children were featured on local shows. The artist's paintings are in Naples museum collections, among others, at the Capodimonte Museum.
