
**Nambu Type 14 Pistol
8x22mm. 4.61" barrel length. SN: 72404. Blued metal finish with straw colored small parts, polished bolt and internals, and horizontally serrated wood grips. Short recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Right frame struck with the arsenal marks indicating it was made by Kokubunji under Nagoya Arsenal supervision. Production date marking of 14.12 indicates it was made in December of 1939. Standard type marks and safety marks to left frame. Serial numbers match on major components with a double-stamped, likely force matched, cocking knob, unmarked firing pin and guide, and unmarked grips. Magazine serial number is 957. {C&R}

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Internals maintain much of their polish with gray patina forming on the edges of the bolt. Light edgewear overall with some muzzle wear, brown patina forming on gripstraps. Some further brown flecking below barrel. Grips with some handling wear, scratches, and chips on forward edges.
