Manufactured in 1890. Blued octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, German silver dovetailed front sight blade, and "1886" marked ladder rear sight. Case hardened frame with plain trigger. 2-piece gloss finished walnut stocks with crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel retains the vast majority of its factory blue with thinning along the high edges and scattered marks. Magazine tube and hanger also retain portions of blue but are drifting to patina. Receiver has characteristic shiny patina with case hardened patterning and some spotting. Stocks have been lightly sanded and refinished with a few areas of finish loss and other mild handling marks. Bright, well defined bore with some light, cleaned abrasions towards the muzzle. Fine mechanics.
