RIPPON BOSWELL, A 41, 12 November 1994, lot 94
This very rare small-format Ersari is woven in a chequerboard design of 24 compartments in steel blue, green and red which enclose spider-like devices in contrasting colours. Small white diamonds create striking frames around the compartments and combine into a grid. Excellent quality wool, colours and workmanship. The original purpose is unknown.

Condition
In very good condition, original finishes all around. It shows barely any signs of wear.
