This large Arabachi chuval shows three complete primary motifs and six that are cut, and thus halved, by the horizontal borders. The octagonal secondary motifs with a star at their centres lie on the points of intersection of a grid composed of thin striped lines. Small details are knotted in ruby silk. The collector purchased this first-rate bag face from Black & Loveless, London, in 1979.
