Ryan's #177 rookie has received a recent grade of 4.5 VG-EX+ from Beckett, with horizontal off-centring being the only notable flaw. The grade represents the average of the group very well. Most cards are crease-free with excellent surfaces, sharp edges, and good but imperfect centring and corners. Notably, Rod Carew, Hank Aaron, and Bob Gibson are excellent. Mays' card suffers a rough left edge. Tom Seaver and Willie Stargell fall below condition average with minor wrinkles to their facing surface. All three included checklists are marked.
