The Edmonton Grads were one of the most successful and influential teams in basketball history. The Canadian group dominated women’s basketball from 1915 to 1940. Coached throughout their entire existence by Percy Page, the Grads compiled an extraordinary 522–20 record, winning an astounding 95% of their games. They captured multiple Canadian, North American, and World Championship titles, and remained undefeated in official Olympic exhibition play across three games. Revered for their discipline, sportsmanship, and precision, the Grads became an international symbol of excellence in women’s sport and helped elevate the profile of women’s basketball worldwide- shaping what it has become today. The team has been featured on a wide variety of ephemera since their dominance- including card #9 in the 1962 Wheaties card set highlighting the greatest moments in Canadian sport. Offered here are two unmarked scorecards from Edmonton Grads games, featuring the 1923 World Champions on their front covers.
