Description
The Kenton Hardware Company. Kenton, Ohio - Early 1900's. 15 1/4" Long x 5 3/4" Tall. The John & Kira Olshefski Collection. Electroplated finishes were time consuming and expensive. Such toys were nearly twice as costly as their painted cousins. Modern collectors value the burnished finish of these toys as if they were works of art. Where the pumper connects to the hitch, a tiny piece of iron is missing. It still functions.
Condition
Pristine Burnished Surface. Where the pumper connects to the hitch, a tiny piece of iron is missing. It still functions.
