Description
1800’s Native American smoking pipe tomahawk is attributed to Plains Indians. Features a hand forged iron spear point tomahawk head with dual side loop projections and integrated pipe bowl mounted on a carved hardwood haft with notched grip detail. Hollow wooden shaft retains smoking function with carved mouthpiece end. Displays heavy age patina, oxidation, surface wear, and handling marks consistent with age and use. Measures approximately 24 inches long with head measuring approximately 10 inches. Interesting example of a 19th century Plains style pipe tomahawk.
