A distinguished Royal Worcester limited edition porcelain plaque depicting Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in profile, produced in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee.
The portrait is after the celebrated design by Arnold Machin O.B.E., R.A., whose elegant effigy became one of the most recognisable representations of the Queen through its use on British coinage and postage stamps.

Executed in refined white relief against a soft ivory ground, the plaque captures the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, with exceptional subtlety and restraint characteristic of Machin’s work.
The reverse bears the Royal Worcester mark and printed dedication, noting this example as number 431 from a strictly limited edition of 1,000.

Presented in the original mahogany and parcel-gilt frame of good quality, retaining the original labels to the reverse.

Offered in very good condition overall, with minor light age-related wear to the frame consistent with age and use.
