Of rectangular form with a hinged lid, engine turned decoration and engraved presentation inscription reading “Presented to Henry Hornby by Mr Charles Salt, as token of respect 1848”. Gilt interior. Together with another Birmingham 1812 by John Shaw, of rectangular form with hinged lid, reeded decoration. (2)
