A spectacular presentation of the sights of Peking including the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, South Sea Palaces, Hunting Park Pagoda, and much more. Lacking four plates: “A Thousand-Colonnade Walk” p. 46; "A Guardian of the Gate" p.58; "Peking Life – A Camel Study" p.92; and "The Sleeping Buddha of Wo Fu Ssu" p.134. The original embroidered blue silk binding, which was removed when rebound, is present, though quite worn and tattered.
