Antique French Bronze Ormolu Carriage Clock w/ Key

Description

Antique French carriage clock likely dating from the late 19th century. Features beveled glass panels within a rectangular case featuring fluted corner columns, pierced floral ormolu style mounts, and swing handle top. White enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals surrounding pierced center decoration. Includes winding key and visible movement through hinged rear access door. No apparent maker's marks.

Dimensions: 5.5 X 3 X 2.75 in.

Condition: Good to fair overall condition with normal surface wear. The glass panels show losses and are all detached, including the rear door. Untested. Movement appears over wound. Will be in need of service, parts and or repairs. Note: This condition statement is provided as a courtesy and reflects an opinion, not a statement of fact.
