Description
An elegant postmodern "Tao" floor lamp designed by Italian architects and designers Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for PAF Studios in 1980. A round bowl shade and a square black base are joined by a single diagonal rod while the lamp's power cord drapes from the shade and attaches to the center of the cast metal base, all of which gives the design a fantastic asymmetry and compelling silhouette. The lamp dims, is powered by an on/off floor switch, and takes a single halogen bulb.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Marked on underside of the lamp's base.
