Antique Ralph Barret Tall Case Clock - Calendar Dial - Signed Winstanley of Wigan Circa 1780. This is an 18th-century English oak longcase Grandfather clock, featuring an 8-day brass Victoria style dial with cherub corners. The clockmaker, Winstanley of Wigan, represents a well-known family of clockmakers who operated in Lancashire during the George III period (circa 1780). There is some wood damage, cracks, breaks. The second hand is missing. The glass front is in good condition no damage, the bonnet top does come off and the key to cabinet is intact. We do not know the working condition. It comes with 25lb. original weights. The clock measures H 86" x W 19.5" x D 9.5" and weighs Clock 80 lbs. ; Weights 25 lbs. Combined weight is 105 lbs. Please refer to all photos.
