Unique, original poster featuring Country Joe & the Fish headlining at San Francisco's California Hall on April 13th, 1967, with a killer design by artist John Myers. The event was called the Joyful Alternative Peace Poets Dance and featured music by Country Joe and Serpent Power. There were poetry readings by Richard Brautigan, Lenore Kandel, Charles Upton, Kenneth Patchen, David Metzler, and more. Kenneth Patchen designed the small drawing in the bottom right corner (Oh Come Now). This vintage poster does not appear in our auctions very often. Artist John Myers also designed some of the Bill Graham numbered series issues like BG-27, BG-33, and BG-52.
