MARION BARNETT (1913-1978) STILL LIFE OIL PAINTING YELLOW PINK ROSES IN VASE This lovely still life oil painting was done by California artist Marian Barnett. It is titled, "Miniature Bowl of Roses". It is signed by Marian in the lower left. It is also identified on a tag on the back of the frame. This painting has been beautifully framed and is in great vintage condition. Canvas Size: 9" x 12" Frame Size: 14.5" x 17.5" Marian Elizabeth Barnett, a painter of Central California coastal landscapes and still life images, was born in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 1913. She painted and exhibited in the middle part of the 20th Century in and around the San Luis Obispo, California area. She lived in the nearby small community of Los Osos. Barnett died in San Luis Obispo on September 3, 1978.
