BIOGRAPHY:
Fritz Wagner-Hohenberg was a German genre painter (1902 Munich to 1976 Munich), son of the painter Josef Wagner-Hohenberg (1870 Hohenberg (Upper Palatinate) to 1939 Munich). He studied at the State School of Applied Arts under Roth and Pretorius, probably 1920-23, studied at the Munich Academy under Schinnerer and Hahn, was a member of the Reich Association of Visual Artists of Germany, and was active in Munich.
