BIOGRAPHY:
Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1974). Member of the poster section of the Moscow Union of Artists (MUUA). Biographical information is fragmentary, place of birth is unknown. In 1957 he graduated from the Moscow Printing Institute. From 1950 he worked in foreign trade advertising and was one of the leading masters in the USSR. He specialized in trade and exhibition and tourist advertising posters. Printed posters by N. K. Litvinov are in the State Museum of Political History of Russia (GMPIR), the State Museum of the History of Russian Literature named after V. I. Dahl (State Literary Museum, GLM), the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (GCMCHR), the Kostroma State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics (MMK), the National Museum of the Udmurt Republic named after Kuzebay Gerd (NM UR), the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (CMAF RF), and the Cherepovets Museum Association (CherMO).
