BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Nottingham, England, Mae Bennett-Brown studied in England at the Derby School, and at an early age, passed Royal Academy of London judges for the Bradford Exhibition, a prestigious recognition. She exhibited in London, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby, England, and then moving to Massachusetts, had one-woman shows at the Boston City Club and Public Library. She also directed the Little Theatre Group in Boston for six years. Member of Rockport Art Association, MA.
