• Laurel Lighting Corp Italian Mid Century Modern Brass Table Lamp
• Laurel Lighting Table/Desk Lamp version. This is a wonderful MCM piece dating 1950-1959 for Laurel Lighting Corporation. Model# B-683 /4D (Laurel) w/it's orig. champagne finish and definitive brass pointed spike finial, which can also be used to redirect the adjustable lighting head using it like a handle. This piece has the maker's mark signed under the base. Has the 1-pc Diffuser in place with center opening in excellent vintage condition. Maker's original stickers are inside the dome, with patent numbers and manufacturer info. Beautiful condition for its age. Weight approx. 6lbs, 27"H and is adjustable x14-1/2"dia shade. Circa 1957, the Laurel Lamp Company really found its stride in the mid to late 1950s. The company strove to become the Cadillac of Lighting and hired superb design talent to put their lamps always a notch above the competition.
