LAURA CHAPELLA TOMOSIE 1907-1981- OLD VINTAGE HOPI POT-7 1/2 " PARROT DESIGN
This old Hopi pot was made by Hopi Tewa potter Laura Chapella Tomosie (1907-1981). It shows a wonderful parrot wing design. Laura began creating pots in the 1930s and The Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff has several of her pieces in its collection.
The pot is 6" tall and 7 1/2" across. It is signed on the bottom and is in good all original condition.
