Antique Victor Talking Machine Type V-1 external horn gramophone featuring an oak wooden case, original black japanned tonearm with gold scroll decoration, and large black metal horn with gold-painted floral interior. The front retains its original Victor nameplate identifying it as Type V-1, manufactured by the Victor Talking Machine Co., Camden, New Jersey. This hand-crank phonograph is being sold as found and is not in working condition. The internal mechanism is present but requires restoration, and the cabinet shows age-related wear, surface scratches, and shrinkage cracks consistent with its age. A desirable restoration project and display piece for collectors of early phonographs and Victor memorabilia. Measures approximately 20.5 x 11 x 11 inches.
