A CHINESE WHITE JADE CUP WITH TWIN CHILONG HANDLES
This fine nephrite wine cup measures 10cm ? 6.8cm ? 3cm and weighs 103 grams, carved from lustrous creamy white jade with uniform smooth polish. The rounded shallow bowl features a gently flared rim and compact circular foot, flanked by a pair of fully sculpted openwork chilong dragons as integrated side handles. Each sinuous beast clings to the vessel's exterior with defined facial features and curling ribbon tails, with subtle spiral scroll relief decorating the bowl wall beneath the dragons. Delicate, balanced carving and translucent fine jade quality render it an elegant miniature ceremonial vessel sought after by collectors of Chinese antique jade tableware.
