Description

This antique early 19th century engravings depicts a bas relief in the ancient cities Herculaneum or Pompeii that were buried under volcanic ash when Mt. Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. Printed on one side only on handmade laid paper. Dimensions: 9" x 7". Please view our other copperplate engravings from the same series.
