Dramatic pair of vintage James Mont-style horseshoe armchairs inspired by traditional Chinese furniture forms. Each chair features a sweeping rounded horseshoe back that flows gracefully into sculptural curled arms, supported by sinuous side elements and a broad central back splat. The glossy black lacquer finish gives the pair a bold, sophisticated presence, while cream upholstered seats provide a striking contrast. Their strong architectural silhouettes blend Hollywood Regency, Chinoiserie, and Asian Modern influences, making them excellent statement chairs for a living room, entryway, bedroom, or eclectic dining arrangement. Sold as a pair.
