Description
A lot of 6 Egyptian faience ushabtis. Lot includes a blue ushabti, c. 21st-22nd Dynasty, H: 2 7/8 in (7.2cm); a pale green ushabti with some remaining glaze, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075-945 BC, H: 3 1/8 in (8cm); a light blue ushabti with an incised bag on left shoulder, Late Period, c. 664-30 BC, 2 ½ in (6cm); a light blue ushabti, Late Period, c. 664-30 BC, H: 2 ¾ in (7cm); a purplish ushabti with a loss to the head, Late Period, c. 664-30 BC, H: 2 5/8 in (6.5cm); and a purplish-blue glazed ushabti, Ptolemaic Period, c. 305-30 BC, H: 2 ¾ in (6.9cm). All with tripartite wig, arms held over chest with hands holding pick and hoe.
