Named after and inspired by former first lady and style icon Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the Jackie bag is sophisticated and functional. The bag was initially introduced in 1961 and reissued in 1999 by Tom Ford. Under Ford the design was produced in a variety of colors and materials and helped to usher in the era of the Gucci it-bag and jet set style which has become so closely associated with the brand. This bag is incredibly rare and collectable. This bag effortlessly combines three beautiful and exotic skins. The use of lizard or alligator is rare for Gucci, but to combine lizard, alligator and python all into one Jackie bag is beyond special. This patchwork design is completely statement making. Piston closure. Adjustable shoulder strap. Interior is metallic brown leather with one zip pocket.
This bag is in Excellent Condition. Slight fraying to some of the stitching on the bag.
